After building Magento websites for years, I’ve come to the conclusion that building a Magento website is a lot like building a house. I believe I have some experience here because I started working for my father’s electrical business when I was only seven years old. Needless to say, I’ve wired hundreds of houses in my youth…
When is Magento right for my brick and mortar store?

Content Marketing: The New SEO
Search Engine Optimization has evolved over the last few years and traditional SEO, for all intents and purposes, is dead. Replacing SEO is Content Marketing, which frankly is what I’m doing right now with this blog article. The general idea is to write about topics and subjects that you’re passionate about or have deep rooted knowledge. As you write about these topics, people will naturally gravitate to them and refer others to your work. After attending this year’s Magento Imagine Conference, it is easy to see why Magento is the fastest growing e-commerce platform on the planet. Sure Magneto is a very powerful and extendable system, but in my opinion that’s not what makes Magento such a tour de force. Instead, it’s the thriving community Magento has built and the passionate people behind the platform.
Just now as I’m sitting in the cafe of the hotel writing this blog someone came up and introduced himself. Your initial thought is probably, “Sure what is he trying to sell you?” Yes, there’s certainly people here pushing their wares, but there’s a genuine desire to collaborate and connect with people…
