Order & Payment History
More than ever, businesses are looking to streamline their operations and provide self-service capabilities to their customers. Customers appreciate it when they can log into your website and easily see their past order and payment history. In the past, this meant “just” the orders they placed on your website. Now however, Modern Retail can show the orders and payments from your point of sale (POS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system directly on your website. This lets your business-scale customers browse this information when it’s convenient to them, without the intervention of you or your sales staff.
Modern Retail can help your customers see all of the orders placed against their business account directly from your website. Their account will show all of their orders, whether those orders were placed on your website, or directly with your sales staff and entered in your POS or ERP system. Customers can search their past orders, which is often helpful when placing repeat orders. They can also export their complete order history to Excel for additional reference and analysis.
Your customers will appreciate being able to print PDF copies of all purchases directly from your website. This includes website orders, as well as orders entered directly in your point of sale or enterprise resource planning system. These PDF orders can be customized to include your company logo and message at the bottom of the invoice.
Business customers like knowing where they stand with their account and the payments that have been received. Your customer’s accounting department may want to reconcile the payments they’ve made to make sure everything matches up correctly, and offering them that capability is a feather in your cap. Giving customers this self-service capability not only eases the burden on your staff, but also makes for happy customers.
Just like Order History, the customer’s complete Payment History can be downloaded to Excel for analysis and to help them reconcile their books.
