Modern Retail SMS Terms and Conditions

Modern Retail may send one-time authentication and verification codes, as well as transactional SMS messages related to retail orders, order status, pickup, curbside pickup, local delivery, shipping or delivery updates, returns, and customer support.

User accounts in the Modern Retail Admin Panel are created by authorized representatives of retailers using the platform. During account setup, a retailer may optionally provide an employee's or administrator's mobile phone number. Before SMS messaging is enabled, the employee or administrator must successfully verify ownership of the mobile phone number by entering a one-time authentication code sent by SMS. After successful verification, SMS may be used to deliver authentication codes and operational notifications based on the user's assigned role and notification preferences within the Modern Retail Admin Panel.

Message frequency varies based on authentication requests, order activity, fulfillment activity, return activity, and customer-support interactions. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP.

SMS messages are used solely for authentication and operational notifications under this program and are not used for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Mobile phone numbers, mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and messaging consent will not be shared, sold, rented, transferred, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared only with messaging providers, service providers, and the applicable retailer as necessary to deliver the requested services, authenticate users, send operational SMS messages, comply with applicable law, or protect the security of our services. These parties are prohibited from using your information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
